PraetorLink Command Privacy Policy
PraetorLink Command (the "App") is a desktop app that PraetorLink LLC runs on its own computer to schedule and publish its own videos (for example, the L2U Education channel) to its own social media accounts, including TikTok. It is not offered to the public, and no outside users sign in to it. This policy covers only the App. Our website is covered by the PraetorLink Privacy Policy.
What we collect from TikTok
When our own TikTok account is connected, the App receives that account's basic profile (open ID, display name, avatar and username) and the access tokens TikTok issues. It uses them only to show which account is connected and to publish videos we choose to that account. These are the only permissions the App requests: user.info.basic, user.info.profile and video.publish.
Where it is stored
Tokens are stored only on our computer, in Windows Credential Manager. Profile details and posting history are kept in local files on the same computer. Nothing is stored on any outside server operated by us.
What we do not do
We do not collect data about other TikTok users, sell or share any data, use it for advertising or profiling, or read messages, followers or comments.
Videos
The App uploads only videos that PraetorLink LLC created and owns, directly from our computer to TikTok.
Sharing
We do not share data the App receives with anyone, except where required by law or legal process.
Retention
Tokens are kept only while the account is connected and are deleted when it is disconnected or access is revoked. Posting history is kept only as long as needed for our own records.
Removing access
Disconnecting the account in the App deletes its tokens from the computer. Access can also be revoked at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions. To ask about or request deletion of any data, email service@praetorlink.com.
Security
The App runs only on a computer PraetorLink LLC controls, and tokens are protected by the operating system's credential store. No method of storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect this information.
Children
The App is not used by or directed to children.
TikTok's own policy
Information you share with TikTok is governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
